My large dog didn't care for it.

Even though my dog is large enough to pick up the knuckle in his mouth, he never gnawed on it once. I found the knuckle did not smell atball like beef. Instead it had more of a slight funiture polish smell. Next knuckle I get my puppy will be from a animal supply store that sell fresh, untreated knuckles.
