Not a new item!!!

You sold me a used or a returned item which was obvious from improperly boxed item. Returned to get the refund. Will not trust to buy anything online with you. Caused me a disabled 81 year old two trips to pickup and return the item

A: Yes it has a waiting indicator light. I would prefer to also have a sound indicating there was a call.

Q: Does this phone's wireless receiver have a low battery warning tone, if the battery is going to die while you are on a call? If it is about to die, can you just pick up the wired receiver and it will already be working without any button pushes?

A: I'm sorry I don't use the handsets. I just use the main phone wired. I looked in the manual and in the handset section it lists a battery level icon so It should display. There is a battery saving feature on the base unit. You should set back up battery power to ON, "backup power mode is on." It will also say, "Back up power is low". They prefer rechargeable Ni-MN batters. I'd suggest you read the manual regarding battery saving info and batteries if you buy the phone. I've had this phone for 3 years with no problems so far.
