Very Poor Service

This is more a review of the delivery as opposed to the unit. The desk was delivery about a week ago. While I paid extra for the delivery that supposed would have the unit taken to the room in which it was to be set up and unpacked, the Keswick store's delivery people refused to do so - stating they weren't allowed to do so. Today, I had an installer come to put the desk together. He opened the package and found one of the pieces had a chip out of it. On calling the store, they told me their policy was that I had to bring the entire desk back to the store in order to have it replaced or a credit given. As I don't have a van or truck, that was impossible. Nor would they send someone to my residence (3 blocks roughly from the store) to look at the unit and extend a credit. Additionally, the person I spoke to stated that they don't deliver into the home and certainly not into specific rooms. Now I wait for the store manager to call me to further discuss this. I don't believe I will be ordering online from Canadian Tire again, or buying anything that that needs to be delivered to my home.
