Like the bike

Nice bike. Had to set it up myself with just a video to help since i bought it during the lockdown. Works okay. The brakes squeak a bit but it's hard to blame SportChek for that since i had to do that myself. Video they provided was very helpful.

Gonna need another bike

The frame is very heavy. The seat does not tilt at all. It's not a comfortable ride. Our 15 year old bike is better. No matter what we do the gears never work properly either. Disappointed in this purchase.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Just buy a better bike

This bike has a lot of cheap plastic, I was disappointed when my online order arrived and I put it together. Assembly was easy, but I would highly recommend moving up to a bike that doesn't use the Shimano Tourney groupset if you can afford it. Even though this bike weighs pretty similar to the more expensive bike I traded it in for, the improved groupset feels so much better (smoother shifting, more efficient/fast riding). The shocks on this bike were pretty terrible but probably were reasonable given the price point.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great value amd quality components.

A nice bike with good components, assembly can be difficult, check the front amd rwar wheel beaeings as i found them over-torqued from tge factory. After Covid 19 measures are lifted i will bring it to Sport Chek for a once over.

Overall decent bike

Overall it is a nice bike for the price point. I don't like that it did not come with any sort of assembly instructions. I couldn't find an appropriate spot to mount the headlight. The handlebars have very minimal adjustment, and can feel awkward while riding. The disc brakes are a massive bonus and the primary reason for purchasing this bike. The tires seem to be high quality as well, plus it is a nice looking bike. I wouldn't take it on anything more than intermediate trails, and city rides.
