A super little knife.

I wanted a little penknife sized fixed blade knife for just wearing everyday, without the faff of opening the blade, and small enough to allow my kids to use. I have been using this, several times a day, for two months. The high quality leather sheath is comfortable to wear and the poppet is holding up well. The handle, which may be plastic, looks wonderful, so much so, I’m having a little sheath made so I can wear it as a sgian dubh when I wear my kilt.

Decent knife, bad sheath

I bought this same knife with a slightly different handle and use it everyday as a work knife. The handle is plastic and not smooth, so it holds a lot of mud. But the blade seems decent, just requires a quick sharpening every few days. The sheath however is horribly designed, in my opinion. The buckle is down near the front of the handle, by the blade, but it’s not tight enough to actually hold the knife in. For the most part, gravity keeps the knife from falling out, because the knife can just slide up and down past the buckle. The sheath is also hard like cardboard when you first get the knife, but softens up after about a month of use. Overall it isn’t a bad knife to use and it doesn’t rust
