Absolutely the best for ice. I am older with mobility issues these make me more sturdy and safe on ice on my daily mountain walks. Recommend them to all my friends.

Not good in icy conditions

I live in the north and we currently get a lot of icy periods/ conditions on trails and in the city. These work well on compact snow, but have provided no traction on ice, or slippery frozen conditions. They slide with every step on ice; they're not pokey enough or grippy enough.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great grip for a short time!

I received a pair of these crampons for Christmas 2024 . I walk between 3-5 kilometres every day with my dog. It has been cold and snowy for the past 6-7 weeks, but I certainly did not expect my crampons to break as they did today, in v icy conditions.
I have been very happy with the grip on ice and packed snow. However, within the first month, I noticed signs of rust even though I wiped down the crampons after each walk, morning and evening. This morning, I noticed that the grips were snapped and hanging to the sides.
Very disappointed with the quality of these grips and would not buy another pair unless they are made of a more reliable metal or material that does not rust. The fact that they gave way after two months is extremely disappointing.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Well I am going to answer my own question now that I have the product and the information that is on the packaging is quiet helpful - the answer from the CT Team is partially right however they didn't actually read the box because here is what is says - I would actually paste a copy but it is not letting me. 'For Sizing: Regular Boots ADD One Shoe Size, Insulated Boots ADD Two Shoe Sizes'
