Slippy on hard ice

They slip on hard glare ice. I weigh 230 lbs so I can push them into ice harder than a 130 lb person, but I don't have the confidence with these vs my Kahtoola ExoSpikes which are far superior on hard ice. Also, these collect moist/wet snow under the toe and heel so it feels as if you are walking on lumps.

Fail due to corrosion

Build quality: < 1/5 — Broke due to substandard materials Functionality: 4/5 — Good design. Did a good job on all Winnipeg winter surfaces. No decrease in stability or balance due to low profile. Very snug fit with medium size on Merrell hiking boots size 9.5. “Case-hardened steel alloy….. aircraft steel cables.” Haha. Good marketing BS. All components started to rust right away and a cable snapped after using these periodically (nowhere near everyday) for 5 months (over two winters). Unfortunately I could not return them after they failed because it was just outside of the one-year warranty. Drying them after use to prevent corrosion would not work because the cables are completely enclosed in the other tube components. If they made these with steel that didn’t corrode so quickly, they'd be worth the money.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Traction is Super!

The GripOns I purchased recently are perfect for my dog walking profession. They truly help me from slipping and falling when I am walking on ice/snow. The traction is super! I would definitely recommend these GripOns and I would definitely purchase them when needed! Thank you!

A: Well I am going to answer my own question now that I have the product and the information that is on the packaging is quiet helpful - the answer from the CT Team is partially right however they didn't actually read the box because here is what is says - I would actually paste a copy but it is not letting me.
