Very useful during the power outages in 2024

Here in Houston there was a wind storm and hurricane during the spring and summer of 2024, and this lantern came in very handy. Nice and bright when the power is out, can be hung up to illuminate a room or for reading. It can use regular batteries for backup if there is no power available to recharge it. So far in 2025, there haven't been any power outages. I also hope to use it outside in my backyard or for camping or hiking. Very lightweight, small, and portable in spite of powerful lighting.

Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little guy is perfect! I love the bright LED setting for working in the yard or garage at night, and the amber setting is wonderful for hikes and camping. It clips on to pretty much anything, and has survived multiple trips without a scratch. Highly recommended, it’s a great value!

Q: For the Nite lze Radiant RL3 lantern, Can you just use 3AA batteries to power the lantern if the rechargeable lithion battery is dead? Also is the rechargeable battery replaceable?
