Q: Has this product ever gone on sale? Do the refills ever go on sale? Seems that this is a pretty pricey item that may only work when there is little to no wind outside or only work in a 50 square foot area.
3 years agoA: I don’t often see Thermacell items on sale. Little or no wind is when mosquitoes are at their worst. I have 2 of these I use on each end of my 200 sq. Foot deck. We don’t get touched. Even with a little wind.

Q: So just bought this product (EX series) says online that it will protect you in 4.5 meter radius and that is why we bought it .... but inside the user guide say its only 3 meter radius. whats up with that and what is it really?
3 years agoA: I can't say exactly. I have a 20 ft x 15 ft deck. I use 2 Thermacells. 1 on each end. No mosquitoes ever while they are running.

Q: Can I safely charge this on my solar system? I have 300 watts of panel connected to Nautilus AGM Group 24 deep cycle battery connect to 800 watt power inverter.
2 years agoA: I don't see why not. This unit charges via USB A cable (out) so as long as you can plug it into a USB charger or if your inverter has a USB input should be ok
