For an easy-to-use ant killer that’s clean to handle, try Ortho Ant B Gon MAX Ant Killer Granules. Effectively kills outdoor ants, including foraging ants, sweet-feeding ants, pavement ants, odorous house ants and other common ants. Apply directly to ants, mounds, nests, trails and other ant-frequented areas. Use in areas around buildings, decks, patios, pathways and driveways. Use dry or dissolve in water according to label directions. Can be applied as an outdoor perimeter treatment, broadcast treatment or drench application to ant nests. Did not work for me. Ants didn't even acknowledge I sprinkled it on and around them. Just walked over it. Days later ..still ants walking on and over product. Product also melts on warm stone such as concrete and patios. Looks like a stain. Until it rains and it washes away.

A: Ortho Ant B Gon MAX should not be used on or around edible plants. Keep application 30 to 45 cm away from edibles. If accidentally sprayed on or too close to edibles destroy annuals and do not harvest from perennials till the following year.
