    These lights are by the best led grow lights for the price. They work great in a vivarium with the addition of UVB.

    low light intensity for succulents

    I bought this for my little succulents and I placed it above them about 10cm only for 12-13 hours per day, but all my succulents started stretching and loosing colors.

    No, I do not recommend this product.

    I know not the intended use but I am using it over an aquarium, sitting on top of the glass. It does sit well as it has sides on it so the bulb does not actually sit on the glass, my one reason for purchasing this one. I thought it would be excellent, it is bright. Reading from aquarium sites they say if there are no bubbles coming off the plants after about a half hour, the light is not strong enough. The aquarium is only 17" high so I thought it work well. I will have to purchase more lighting to achieve good plant growth.
