Just cool it!

Fan works great, light is nice and bright. It looks good at the top of my stairs. Its quiet too. Only complaint is it was missing two fasteners. I'll give it five stars in case I somehow managed to lose the screws myself.

Q: Re: NOMA Marley 52” ceiling fan. Can the light and the fan features be operates independently of one another? Example, light on with fan off or fan on with light off? Fans will mostly be used in bedrooms at night.

A: Yes, they can work independently of each other. You could have the light on without the fan or the fan without the light on, or both of the same time, via the remote control.

Q: how to change light colours on the fan

A: Press and release light key one time to turn light on or off or to switch light colour. Long press light key when the light is on to activate the dimmer function and the light will vary from the current brightness to brighter, or dark to bright and back again. WHEN THE LIGHT IS TURNED ON AGAIN (WITH AT LEAST 10 SECONDS INTERVAL TIME), THE LIGHT MEMORY FUNCTION WILL RESUME THE LIGHT SETTING (COLOUR AND BRIGHTNESS) BEFORE THE LIGHT WAS TURNED OFF.

Q: Can you turn the fan on manually at the base or is it only by the remote? (If you loose the remote, can you still turn on and off the fan when the light switch is on)

A: I believe it’s with remote only. I’ve only had these a few weeks but they work well. Lighting is bright with 2 options of cool tone or warm lighting.

Q: Can I wire it to the disable switch at the wall as well as use the remote?

A: We suggest not to connect the fan with the wall switch. Using the remote to control the ceiling fan is the best way.

Q: hooked up the red wire to the black wires and light goes through a blinking phase. maybe disconnect the red wire?

A: The red wire from the fan must be connected with the red wire from the receiver and the fan will run normal.

Q: Can this unit be wired using the light switch for the light, and the remote for the fan, regardless of whether the light switch is turned off or on? (Ceiling outlet has both switched and hot line feeds.)

A: The unit can be wired with the wall switch which has only the light ON/OFF switch. If you make wires like that, please remember that the light ON/OFF switch is the main power of the whole unit, only in the condition that the light switch in ON, you can use the remote to control the light and the fan running. Additionally, the lights can be dimmed by the remote control, please do not miss this feature.
