So fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lego set was so fun to build with my son! It did take us awhile to put it together but that made it more fun. Once built it was very strong and good for my son to play with!

Best minions set so far

My 8 year old got this for Xmas and was thrilled as it has his favourite mega minions and lots of play features including the baby GRU who he thought was adorable. Another great set for his LEGO collection 😊

Missed opportunities

We are a household of Lego fans. This set was purchased for my daughter who is a fan of not only Lego but all of the despicable me films. Given this is the house, I just feel they have really missed an opportunity here to have an impressive set. Over the films, Grus house is seen in many aspects and so to basically incorporate so little of the many features, I feel lets Lego down and that’s not something I say lightly as I am invariably always very happy with the Lego sets. When I consider the cost of the set against what you get when you consider the house in the films, I do not feel this set provides good value for money. Again, that is not something I say lightly. We have collectively, thousands of pounds worth of Lego sets and this is probably the only one I’ve ever felt somewhat deflated by. That said, it was for my daughter and she likes it.
