Q: Will this heater turn off once it hits a certain heat and turn back on once it gets colder than what you have set at.

  • A: Yes, it has a thermostat feature, after turning the unit on to one of the 2 heater options, you set the dial until it comes on and it will run until that temp is reached and turn off until cold enough to turn on again.

The unit only automatically shuts off when it tips over, and when the temperature dips below 41 degrees F (5C), the anti-freeze setting automatically switches on the heater and can help prevent frozen pipes, especially in basements or vacation homes.
