I purchased the extra large 13" pan. It is made with an extra opposing handle for carrying the pan if it has heavier foods in it. So far I've fried eggs in it. I've fried cabbage in it. I've fried ground chicken in it. I've fried pork chops in it. I've made pancakes in it. Everything went great and the pan fried all the foods with nice results. The pan heats everything evenly and doesn't have cold spots that cook slower like non-stick teflon style pans do. I also like that it's Canada made. I recommend this pan for anyone that wants to move away from traditional non-stick pans or if you're looking for an extra-large pan.

Mixed emotions, older Paderno non stick was excellent but after 10 years was deteriorating.

Even heat but definitively not a non-stick pan. I have yet to figure best oil/butter application to prevent eggs sticking for example. After use cleanup is good however.

Really good pan

Made in Canada! A really good quality pan with nice weight for sautéing, heating/cooking, making omelettes and even making pancakes. Works well for induction stoves! It is similar to those $300 pans sold online from the U.S. but less than half the price. And did I mention that it is made in Canada?

A: This product is made with 3 layers of metal. The interior is food-grade stainless steel. The exterior is induction compatible stainless steel and the core in between those is heat-conductive aluminum.

A: Yes. This is a PTFE-based coating. PTFE is required to provide long-lasting stick resistance. Coatings which do not contain PTFE (often referred to as “ceramic” coatings) do not contain PTFE but tend not to maintain their stick resistant property for nearly as long either.
