Sturdy and the lid clicks on confidently. I like the lid is molded to allow for additional bungee cords to keep out urban wildlife (not included). This size holds two full regular size black garbage bags.

1 of the most important & useful features for me are the holes in the handles of the lid & the bin itself. I used cable ties through these holes to secure the lid to the body. I made sure of not pulling the cable ties too tight as, that would prevent the from being to open. So, just make sure you're securing it with this in mind; you need to still be able to both open & close the lid. I also secured the bin to my deck using the holes. Here in Newfoundland, that wouldn't last a day with the winds lol I noticed the review of another lady saying that she lost 2 lids because they blew away. I really don't know how that's possible when the holes are there specifically to prevent that from happening. They'd have to be some very extreme winds. Oh, another tip, I drilled holes all over the bottom of mine so that, if any moisture gets in it, it will just drain out through the holes 🙂 I definitely recommend this as an outdoor trash can 🙃
