Lagostina Products Apparently Not Durable Anymore

The first time I used it, bits of enamel chipped off the bottom (inside) of the pot, even though I used a wooden spoon while cooking. Didn't realize it was damaged until I washed the pot afterwards (it was fine before I used it - completely white-enamelled inside - but spots of orange were there on the bottom after washing it with soap and water). Returned immediately. Not impressed. This is the second Lagostina enamelled cast iron product I've bought recently, and BOTH have had soft , junky enamel. Would not recommend these products to anyone.

- A: This pot is not made for 500F! The tag attached to the pot clearly states it's only up to 400F...hence why so many people have it damaged after a use or two. The outer box and this site are misleading! Do yourself a favor and get something of quality..this brand is definitely not it!!!3 years agoHelpful?

- A: Nope, I tried it but the color close to the rim came off. So easy to get stained and so hard to take it off and when you scrub it (although used rainbow net scrubber the paint comes off. I was not very happy although I bought it on sale.3 years agoHelpful?
