Frank sponge mop refill does not fit prior wand.

Frank changed the fastening clip thickness of the roller sponge refill slightly so that it won't fit on their previous almost identical roller mop handle/wand. The new sponge refill clip will not slide into the rail of the previous model wand that I had bought from Canadian Tire. I am extremely disappointed that Frank would obsolete their previous mop handle which is basically identical to the new one. Because of this, I will not buy any Frank products again; they are not environmentally friendly; they are squandering the Earth's resources; they are costing me money. I should not have to buy Frank's entire roller mop just to replace its sponge. Canadian Tire needs to rectify this with their supplier and also their customers.

Good sponge mop for home use.

This is a good quality Sponge Mop. It comes with a detachable scrubber and detachable squeegee. Also a replacement sponge is available. My big "beef" with the product is the very poor and limited instructions that come with the product. The instructions poorly explain how to detach the sponge, and attach a new sponge. The instructions also provide no information as how to use the scrubber and squeegee. (After several attempts it appears the sponge has to be removed in order to use the scrubber and squeegee.) More detailed instructions are required, along with a link to the CT web site which contains a video (in English and French) oh how to operate the mop, and replace the sponge.

What a joke! of a product hard to get the sponge off to remove the plastic, the green press button so flimsy it broke off. Not impressed poor design. would not recommend to anyone buyer beware.

Q: How do I adjust the bristle brush side to use it. Currently, it is tilted away from the floor at an angle but I cannot find an adjustment lever.

Q: ok I give how do you get the mop head out to change it? We've pushed the handle foward and tried to slide it out....not going to happen.. We are at a complete lost, perhaps an illustration? TIA

  • A: There's a little green "button" you need to press when sliding, unfortunately when removing the plastic wrap some remained making it very very difficult to remove. I can't see this lasting very long.

Q: Can't get the mop head off to get the plastic off it. The green button seems to do nothing and I can't push the handle, push the button, and slide the mop head off at the same time. HELP!!

  • A: Great mop but the sponge head is there to stay. Therefore it would be disposable once the sponge goes. Really too bad but it is a design flaw that hasn't been addressed!
