L'ancien modèle était mieux, car moins de distance entre le fil et le rouleau. Cette distance fait que le fil coupe plus épais que ce qu'on veut et des tranches plus épaisse à la fin de la coupe. Je ne le recommande pas. Si je pouvais retrouver la première version du coupe-fromage de Starfrit, je sauterais sur l'occasion. Vraiment déçue de cet achat!!!

Completely disappointed! Thickness adjustment would not stay in place. Wire kept coming loss! Angle of tool I awkward compared to other cutters as well!

Q: Spare parts?? I have one of these, it's an excellent product but for the fact that the wire broke after only a couple of months, i see that it is a removable part, is it possible to get spares?

A: There are no replacement parts available however it carries a one year exchange warranty. To return it for warranty exchange, bring it to any Canadian Tire store within the warranty period, with your receipt. Warranty exchanges without the original receipt will be offered at the Canadian Tire store’s discretion.
