All of our breakaway kits are tested for your safety and meet DOT requirements for holding and breakaway situations.This replacement battery case for breakaway kits measures 6" wide, 5-1/2" high and 3-1/4" deep to fit a variety of breakaway batteries. It is constructed from durable polyethylene plastic to protect against the elements and features a lockable tab to accept a padlock and deter tampering and theft. This breakaway battery case is equipped with a plastic bracket and four bolt holes for convenient mounting on your trailer.Nobody hitches up a trailer expecting a breakaway, but that doesn't mean you should tow unprepared.
