With four sturdy sides for easy set up, this outdoor gazebo offers you picture-perfect shelter from the sun. Its high-quality brown polyester canopy is expertly constructed and weather-resistant, while the quality bronze-finish steel frame is similarly powder-coated for extra durability. Measuring 8' x 8' x 8.69' (2.44 x 2.44 x 2.65 m), this steel gazebo provides plenty of shaded space, so you and your family and guests can comfortably lounge in your chairs, or around a medium-sized table under the canopy. This brown gazebo weighs nearly 51 lbs, making it sturdy enough to stand firm without being blown around by gusts of wind. Though ideal for use in the summer, fall and spring, this gazebo is not intended for year-round use. Questions
Q: How secure is it in windy conditions? I have a large sundeck with a Duradek floor, so it cannot be secured with bolts. It's often windy in our location; can anyone tell me how secure it is in such conditions?
12 years agoA: It can't handle high winds. take the main part off if the forecast is for 60 km/hr or higher,. It is pretty easy to take off and put back on. If you don't you might see your gazebo flying across the lawn or street! We have gone through 5 or 6 covers for ours. The metal part works great if you screw it down. It lasts very well.

Q: Can this be setup smaller than maximum size (ex: 6x6) Is it possible to setup this gazebo at a smaller size (maybe by taking out a middle piece?). I want to place it on my deck but it is not 8feet wide.

Q: CAN THIS GAZEBO BE FIXED TO THE DECK? I have a trex deck. Will the gazebo effect the material if it is fixed with screws to the material?

Q: Is this gazebo rated for winter or should the canopy be removed before it snows?

Q: How do you anchor it down?
4 years agoA: Unit comes with 16 anchor stakes (4 for each corner) to anchor it into the ground. I do not believe they will hold very well in wind so I would use 4 of the Petco 18 inch Stake Spirals #142-6127-6 from CTC, screw them into the ground and attach ratchet straps to them. This one was installed on a deck using 16 stainless steel screws so it won't be going anywhere.

If you wish to anchor or secure the unit into your wooden deck, it is recommended to use a wood lag screws. For concrete patio, you may use Tapcon screws. Q: Can any other wall/net products for other gzabeos fit? Since the netting and walls have been discontinued - is there another product that could be purchased instead from Canadian tire?
