it works, but..
a month ago
my BBQ had an igniter that was attached to the old tube but no place to attached in on this one, even though the holes for the propane to get out for the ignitor are there.

A: Measure the burner on your Cuisinart G41807, if it is between 14 and 19.5" it will fit. These burners are expandable. Also check the burner compatibility list. If your Cuisinart G41807 is on the list, it will fit.

Q: Easy to install but I have a question regarding the igniter. The instructions seem to indicate you can add an igniter to the tube but there is no mount included. Is there any way to add an igniter to this burner?

A: I reused the existing igniter on my BBQ. It mounted to the original burner by clipping onto ridges in the sides of the burner. This replacement didn't have the same ridges to hold on to, so I just held it in place with a small hose clamp. Not the prettiest but it's hidden underneath anyway, and works fine

Q: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PROPANE BBQ AND NATURAL GAS BBQ?

A: The difference, beside the fuel type, is the size of the valve orifice. A natural gas orifice is larger than the propane version. Please remember that any conversion of fuel types MUST be completed by a qualified technician. Conversion kits are not normally sold to the public but you would typically need to purchase the following parts from your barbecue manfacturer: new valves (orifice is built-in), and fuel hose (hose and regulator {LP} or hose and adaptor {NG}).
