Q: Can this safely affix directly to the outside surface of a hot BBQ? Pictures show it affixed to the side table. My small grill doesn't have a side table.

A: Thank you for your inquiry. The maximum temperature recommended for the Coleman indoor/outdoor LED to come in contact with is: 104F (40C). You will want to keep it at a safe distance from direct temperatures higher than 104F (40C) Hope this helps!
