Doesn’t fit the maven, I don’t know why strikemaster wouldn’t make one that fits all their augers, and $60 for a foot long tube is ridiculous

seems cheap, and quality control could be better. the flight end of the extension had to be drilled out as there was only a hole on one side of the extension so the bolt wouldn't go through. thankfully I didn't need it on that trip.

Q: Post the darn connection size...... Is it 3/4 ?.....7/8 ?..... or 1 inch ?

A: Ice auger shaft is 1 inch and extension shaft is also 1 inch. It is joined by a 1 3/4 inch collar by 1 1/8 inch width and screwed together with a bolt screwed through the collar and both shaft’s tightened with a hexagon wrench.
