There wasn't any heat generated by these warmers. Perhaps, if they were left in the open air or used in mitts they would get warm, but once they are put in boots or skates, they don't work. They just turn hard as a rock and very cold

A: I stick them to the floor of the boot. Strong adhesive kinda wrecks socks imo. you get used to walking on them and they last at least 5-6 hours
