Q: I have just assembled the desk and the toxic smell is unbearable! What is causing this very toxic smell please?

A: Hi, thank you for purchasing a South Shore product. Our furniture are made from particle panels composed of multiple wood essence. This is where the smell is coming from. As time goes by, the smell will gradually disapear. Q: Why doesn't the area under the main top area of the desk (to the left of the drawers) have the option slide out to access the keyboard (if using the desk for a desktop computer)? Also, 255 characters is not always enough!
