A: It is more of a "binggggg" ... a clear and crisp WARNING.

Q: How do I install this? I assume I wrap it around the bike, but there's glued cardboard stuck in the strap and I can't remove it.

A: There is a small screw that you can remove on the bottom. That should solve your problem.
