I bought this hybrid Raleigh after reading good reviews but unfortunately, it is not as reliable as super cycles. I have been buying super cycles & Raleigh mountain bike. Been on them for 50kms at stretch but the new hybrids derailer broke after just 7kms today. When I got it to the CT Ajax store where I bought it, I was told bike guys are not here for 2 weeks or so which means my summer is gone just like that with no resolution. Also been told to look into other CT stores for bike guy's availability. My advise is to stick with mountain bikes or supercycles

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Is the Raleigh Encounter 700C Hybrid Bike able to be attached to the Thule Coaster XT? Or is non-compatible?

A: This bike does not have a quick release rear wheel, however, i believe there may be an adapter available. We'd suggest checking with Thule for their adapter for this product to mount to a nutted rear bicycle wheel.
