Be aware - This is not heavy duty! The part that’s holding the rack is made of plastic. It claims it can hold up to 60lb but couldnt even load 20lb of clothes. This is very disappointing and frustrating.

Does the job, but expect some adjustments

This closet organizer does the job and the overall quality is pretty good for the price. The shelves look fine, but it would’ve been nicer if both sides were painted for a more finished look. Also, be aware that you’ll likely need to trim a small section from the back of the bottom piece if your closet has baseboards.

Flimsy materials

I’m skeptical as to how long this will last. The materials are very thin and the bars are held in with half inch screws that go through the plastic brackets before going into the flimsy shelving. I can foresee the bar pulling down if any amount of weight is hung on the bars. It is a small closet but I don’t think it will take much.

A: NO, it will only fit closets larger than 65 inches in width!!. Each rod measures 26", 4 rod hangers total 1" and the tower is 12" in width for a total of 65". It did not even fit my 63" closet!

A: The shelving unit will be sturdy if you fasten it to the wall, so it shouldn't matter where you put the rods.

A: I do not believe so because it is made so that you screw in the shelves at a certain height. If you used extra shelving it would make the space between the shelves only big enough for a pair of shoes or something… if you want to store shoes, get the shoe rack by closet maid. Love the two of these together!

A: From my experience the units are alll the same size so they stack on one another. And yes you have to secure the top unit to the bottom unit. And a safe practice is to secure all of it to the wall.
