I bought and installed this last week, it is already coming loose. Would not buy again. Not as advertised. Very disappointed as I wasted all that time and now have to buy new tape and so it all over again.

Crystal clear tape is too stiff and sticky to use in a standard tape gun. I'm sure it is very strong, but if it doesn't work in a tape gun it's worthless in a shipping situation. Would not buy again!

I slapped a piece of this on a small hole in my plastic tail light thinking it might last a year if that. Well, it's been YEARS. Still holding in the Arizona desert heat and UV exposure.

Q: Can I use this to hold window screen in place ? Will it leave any adhesive residue when removed ?

A: I have some terrible windows with poorly built screens. So yes it works great to hold a broken screen in. About residue, it's about the same as any adhesive tape.

Q: Can I use this Gorilla clear tape to repair a small tear (1inch x 5 inch) on the arm of a leather sofa ? Is it a glossy tape? Any other downside other than the patch look?

A: I would say it's shinier than the leather but it would certainly stick. Maybe a tiny bit thick? But super strong and transparent which is good. Doesn't help you much but it held the cowling on my car all winter
