It’s a good quality flashlight. Heavy weight, which is a signature of quality in my mind. If you want backpacking, maybe not my first choice but if you want to see across your yard in the dark, this is for you.

Q: How do you change the batteries?

- A: Hi Sheri, to change the batteries you simply unscrew the bottom of the flashlight (where the on/off button is) once you take the that off, the battery cartridge should slide right out and you will be able to change the batteries. If the cartridge doesn't slide right out, that could mean that the flashlight is corroded, which means the batteries were in for too long.
