US Stove Company High Efficiency Wi-Fi Pellet Stove 40 lb. Hopper (1,800 Sq. Ft.)

I have had this stove now for 17 months and it's decided to start acting up. After run up it shuts down after only 8 minutes of run time then flashes error code e3 every time now when it fails. Keep the stove clean all the time but now it doesn't want to work properly. I certainly do not recommend anyone to buy this stove or anything from this company being sold here in canada or anywhere else.

When I purchased this pellet stove it worked great, yes it was cheaper then higher end brands but was happy with it. So after one winter season of very easy heating mostly running on heat rate 1-2 the convection fan is failing ( the fan that blows the heat) so loud you can't even go to sleep in the other room. Hesitates to get going and does this on every setting. Tried cleaning it, even putting a bit of 3in1 electric motor oil in the bearings has not helped. I am out of warranty windows with Canadian tire and thats fine , except I can not get ahold of US STOVE COMPANY and their website for parts only ships to united states. I can not find any parts online else where. All the pellet stove repair services in my area and beyond can not get parts. The manager at canadian tire has not returned my call when I called asking why they are selling this stove that I can not get parts for in Canada, hoping they can point me in a direction to get this fixed as its my only source of heat and starting to look like its impossible to source parts if you live in Canada. So at this point im warning anyone that is considering buying this stove or any other stove they sell to check that you can actually get parts for it before you dish out close to $2000 on pellet stove from them. If i could give -5 stars I would. Absolutely disgusted.

To small of a stove for what I was looking for wish id bought a bigger one

After using this stove for just over a year, I figured it was time to write a review and give some input for future customer’s. This unit absolutely throws the heat beautiful, it has taken my heat bill from $500 a month down to $150 in a 1600sqf split level home. However, customer support is next to none. You have to figure it out for yourself. This stove is extremely high maintenance, if you can run it for 3 days at a time you are extremely lucky (as it does not have an ash pan). The glass goes dirty within a few hours (my photos is the difference over 9 hours), ash overflowing the burn pot within a day or two, on a medium setting the hopper will only last for about 8 hours, and if the auger flow setting is anything but full open it jams and cuts out.(I even sift my pellets with a kitty litter scoop to get extra dust out to prevent jams) The latest problem has been the fire moving up and burning in the auger shaft causing a big concern of a possible house fire. That is the final straw for me and this stove as I am actively shopping for an alternative option.

It’s presently -22 in northern Quebec and this stove decided once again not to function. It works when it wants too before stopping on error something unreliable. My little heaters are working better than this metal box!! Do not buy!! Even if it was on sale do not buy!! Worst thing ever when it’s cold in Canada winter.
