Won’t go through aluminum trim vs. other brands

Used up last of my Brad nails on Sunday and regular supplier was closed. I popped in to grab these since ratings were good. Tacking through some metal trim that my previous nails worked fine for. These pretzeled or ricocheted with maybe 1 in 3 working if angle was perfect. One actually pinged off and nicked my cheek…thankfully had safety glasses on. So much weaker than my old brand. Likely work just fine in other applications, but don’t try to go through aluminum trim.
