Q: Is a junction box needed? Many similar fluorescent fixtures don't I believe and this is in a garage with only ceiling joists.

Q: Hi I have purchased a couple of these and love the amount of light that they put out but would also like to turn the brightness down a bit when full brightness is not needed. Are these compatible with a light dimmer switch?

A: Use included linking cable (EE) in situations where the lights are an appropriate distance apart. Could not match extension cable in the market. Unless factory offer. Thank you.
