Absolutely awful product. Came with an inability to actually stabilize due to choices in its design. Pole mounts at the base do not fit correctly together, top peice is unable to be screwed in due to it having no grooves... awful product design.

Rusted base and doesn't stand up straight! Avoid this lamp

After opening the box we realized that the base was rusted, showing it must have been stored somewhere dubious before being packaged. We decided we wouldn't see the base that often and put it together anyways. We were extra careful to put it together slowly and carefully to ensure we didn't strip any threads. After assembled, it didn't stand up straight and the top bar sat at an angle. Overall pretty poorly designed so we decided to take it back. Of course the manager wouldn't give us our money back and forced store credit on us. Shame on me for thinking cr@ppy tire had turned itself around.

A: Yes, the new version has changed a little bit. The cord goes through the tube and the height still can be adjustable.

Q: How does it switch on? Someone mentioned something about a floor pedal? I would need to access it from the top...

A: For this lamp, we have a floor pedal switch that customers which can plug in and step on the switch to light it on and off. This lamp is a adjustable lamp which can according customers likes to adjust the height. When you adjust the highest position, the pedal switch still stay on the floor, the outlet hole of wire is 43 inches from the ground, and our total wire from the outlet hole to pedal switch have 56 inches.
