I wish it worked

I really wanted to love this and give this a 5/5 or 4/5 stars. I love the whole concept of it, the environmentally friendliness of it, the lid design worked so well. But the cleanup was an absolute nightmare. It took a minimum two hours to clean it up each time I used it. I tried with a behr paint and a Sherwin-Williams paint. Even in areas where the paint dried thick, it would flake off. It left such a horrible mess, there was paint chips and dust everywhere and then you still have to wash it which removes the environmentally friendly part of it. It was such a waste of time. Also a collects pet hair like a magnet, even if you don’t have a pet in your house, but your painting someone’s house that does have a pet the silicone attracts pet hair And gets in the paint. For the same price I could have bought 10 disposable trays and saved myself four hours of cleaning. I’m not gonna waste an additional two hours of time to clean this thing because it doesn’t work as it should. Super disappointing.
