Excellent door opener. Purchased it while on sale making it a great deal. The opener os strong and very quiet. It is quite easy to install using the Bilt app for instructions. The battery back-up works well and is a great added bonus.

Save yourself headache

You will get no help from these guys for the warranty. Wall remote stopped working around 13 months and they refused to help. Rep advise to buy one for almost $100. Asked to talk to the supervisor and i was told to call back after a day. Customer service sucks for such expensive products.

The opener when installed is okay but the stall instructions are complete garbage. Don’t waste your time and just look on YouTube at the video of this model number getting installed.

sensors aligned

product for most part good quality, had to purchase the extension kit for 8ft doors, which basically is just an extra rail and a longe belt and some duplicate hardware. Mad the mistake of of not just adding the rail extension to the original existing pieces, no manual to tell you, but guess should have measured that out. Assembly and install went OK, but dealt with with sensor issues. Kept getting errors, but the codes were not descriptive, the manual was not helpful, even the 1-800 support as not that helpful. Finally got it figured out, the sensor even though the lights were solid on them, they would move on the horizontal plain and not be exactly aligned, the door channel rails would flex a bit,, just enough to cause the errors. Took a few hours an couple of beers to get there but now all works as it should.
What is it now a day with marginal documentation, seems to be far to common. Can't hire decent writers?
