Vacuums great but everything else fails

Vacuums great but that's where it stops. The self emptying party never worked. I keep getting notifications to empty the dirt cup. It work if I sit there and push it against the connecting port. So now I have to empty the cup myself after each use. Very poor design. The map function is horrible it you don't have a straight and square/rectangle house. There should be an option to create a line to divide rooms then name them. Not a stupid square that you can't fully adjust the size/angle. Areas of my house get missed now because I can't adjust the square angles. It says tangle free brush but I get messages saying saying roller is stuck and when I check, there a couple stands of hair.

No, I do not recommend this product.

That’s definitely not how it should be performing. The mapping and room setup feedback is also really helpful. We know homes aren’t always perfectly shaped, and it’s important that the map can be customized in a way that actually fits your space. Missing areas because of map limitations isn’t a great experience. As for the brushroll messages, even small amounts of hair can sometimes trigger alerts, but you shouldn’t be constantly seeing that. This is the second review in leaving because this is the worst piece of equipment I have ever bought. I cannot even tell you how frustrating this experience has been because I don’t even think I have enough space. Long story short I got this robot last year and I haven’t been able to use it ..first time it wouldn’t dock. After some back-and-forth, they sent me multiple docs it didn’t work then they sent me a new robot that didn’t work then they sent me another robot and that finally worked and then the dust cup broke…. then the dust cup wasn’t in stock for months and they replaced the machine again after this fourth or fifth machine and sixth or seventh dock and second dust cup I now have a machine that works. I use it for one week and that dust cup breaks again. They sent me another dust cup, and that one literally just broke again…at this point I don’t even want them to send me another one even though it’s under warranty because it’s a piece of garbage. It is a cheap piece of plastic and it is not worth your money.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Very easy setup. I liked the features in the app where you can select no-mop zones (for carpeted areas, etc) but it still vacuums them. The no-mop zones have a minimum size, so it doesn't work for blocking out a small area that you don't want mopped (for like a door mat or something). Very easy to switch between vacuum mode and mop mode. When vacuuming and mopping, It's a little louder than the vacuum-only model, but it does a great job.

  • A: No, the Matrix Plus 2‑in‑1 does not change its size or make itself smaller to fit under furniture. It will navigate around furniture or go under it as long as the space is tall enough for the robot’s full height.
