Q: What is the “Suction” mode for? Does it have the option to dry vacuum only (only vacuum and not wash the floor) or would I have to wash the floor every time I vacuum?

A: It does both together. The floor is basically dry after you pass over an area. The suction and wash does a great job! You can adjust the amount of water used when using. Eco or extra.

A: To maximize battery run time, use auto mode which optimizes battery life up to 35 minutes by using the minimum amount of power to clean the floor. To get from 0% to 100% charged, it can take between 4-5 hours.

Q: how quickly will the floors dry and does it leave streaks or water marks if it doesn't remove most of the water as you wash? currenlty using steam washer and as I go the floor pad gets wetter so I'm left with water marks and have to dry polish after wash

A: Hi CSL1 - The Floor One S5 Ultra uses a measured amount of water enough to clean your floors but still dries in minutes. Streaks do not show on floor because of the fast spinning brush roller that washes away unwanted streaks.

A: Tineco floor washers are suitable for use on all hard, flat and sealed floors. It is not recommended if the floor itself is non-sealed/water seeping/uneven. (Example: concrete floors, unsealed wood floors, cobblestone floors, etc.)

Q: Can this clean/mop uneven surfaces? I have some older tile that has deeper grooves and is a bit uneven. Thank you

A: Thanks for the question, Tricky23! We recommend using the S5 Ultra on MAX mode when cleaning tile to increase water flow and suction power. That way, debris left in grooves can be picked up.
