The humidifier itself works well, runs quiet and I quite liked the cool air it produced however the jug that holds the water is made of weak plastic and after only about 2 weeks of use has issues with the cap threading on properly and staying on as the threads seem partially stripped and it easily deforms so if you put pressure on it wrong when screwing on the cap or picking it up the cap will slip a thread making a massive mess if you don't notice

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Title states 4.73-L but description states 3.03-L capacity. How much water can the tank actually hold?

This means it can be refilled and have about another third of the tank used in one day and can provide more than a tank's worth of output in one day. Q: How long can I expect the filter to last if only using filtered water? The manual says to change it every 30 - 60 days. I'm shocked. There is no mention of that on the box and the filters are not cheap!!!
