Purchased this unit to replace our existing one that died. The biggest issue is that the number pad is next to impossible to read. All the lettering on the buttons is very faded and it is not backlit. I returned it and bought a different brand. The store told me that I was not the only one to complain about the lettering.

Q: How do I cook something on express cook for a specific amount of time, example: 1 minute, and 20 seconds? When I push the numbers, only whole minutes come up, like 2 minutes.

A: Express Cook is a function to cook in whole minutes. If you want to cook for say 1 min 20 sec, select Time Cook and input 120 and Start.

A: Child lock can be turned off by long pressing POWER + STOP + START all at the same time. You should then hear a beep and a message of ON or OFF should flash on the screen. OFF means child lock is off and ON means child lock is on.
