Don’t waste your money!!

Worst coffee maker I’ve ever owned! Had it 3 months. From the beginning it leaked coffee grounds. The filter basket has a solid bottom, coffee can only exit the sides. Bought a different one and even used paper filters with it, still doesn’t brew a clean cup of coffee. It also beeps that it’s completed but there will still be a cup of water to filter through and there is no mechanism to stop the flow of coffee when the pot is removed. Don’t waste your money!

No, I do not recommend this product.

still trying to figure out all the ins and outs of the controls; don't always know if it's brewing, unless you stand there for 2-3 minutes to make sure

Coffee is not hot enough when freshly brewed and warming element lets it cool off even more. Also, the power light will not stop flashing.

Q: What does flashing on button mean. How do you turn it off.

A: The "Brew/Off button" is not supposed to be flashing. according to Vida 1-800-263-9768. Mine had flashing the problem. Vida told me to take it back which I did. No problem in returning to CTC since I only bought it a day ago. You might try returning to CTC or, Vida has three year warranty, you can phone them about returning.
