This thing is a dream. Been using is for weeks not, and everything we put into it comes out great. The one exception follows what everyone online has already stated: fresh broccoli is not this thing's cup of tea, in that it chars it very, very quickly. Other than that? Fries are SO much better coming out of this thing than the oven. I couldn't have imagined the different. Totally worth it, especially if you can get it on sale.

So in love with this air fryer! I had a single 7-quart air fryer that died after 4 years, and I used it every day. What makes this one even better is being able to cook 2 different things at 2 totally different temperatures at the same time. It’s incredibly helpful and great for families, couples, or even single people.

Q: Can only one basket be used or will the other basket heat regardless ? Can this be programmed to use only one basket?

  • A: You can use one basket without using the other basket. The other basket you aren’t using won’t heat up at all.  You can also use both at the same time.  You can also use both and finish at separate times (example, I’m making something and someone else wants to make something during my cooking time).  Lastly, you can make two separate things but set the baskets to finish at the exact same time (example, one meal with two different things. Basket one will take 25 minutes and basket two will take 15 minutes. I can put both in at the same time, set the time for both but tell the air fryer to finish both at the same time. Basket one will start and at 10 minutes in, basket two will then start to ensure both are hot and ready to go at the end of 15 minutes).

Q: I have the NINJA single air fryer and no issues with plugging it in. I just upgraded to the XL Dual and CANNOT get it to plug into an outlet in my kitchen. I can plug it into the plug on my island but no wall plug on counter. Can anyone tell me why?
