I don't find the flaps little extra pieces of material that you could pull together and seal after use .What I do like is that it's easy to open the bag to get it ready to fill Many of the competitor's bags are flimsy and next to impossible to find where to open the bag and you fiddle it with it for quite a long time before you're able to open it. Not so with Glad bags, there seems to be a bit of dust or something that makes it easy to open the bag, to get it ready for use, that's important to me
