bubbling one the bottom

this pan is bubbling on the whole bottom. It's the second one with same issue. i would say it never happened before since 8 years we purchased first one. every year we will replace with a same new pan. we have purchased 2 for back up. my husband say the material may change and cause the problem. let's see how other two will work.

Poor craftsmanship.

The non stick coating chips (even when only using wooden utensils and normal heat) in less than 1 year. Poor craftsmanship. Lagostina refused to honour their warranty, which seems to be standard for them.

A: Thank you for your inquiry, non-stick coating isn't recommended for deep frying as it should be used on low to medium temperatures, as recommended.Stainless steel is a better option. Hope this helps.

Q: What is covered and not covered under Lagostina's 6year warranty for this product. Wok is just over a year old and the black coating is beginning to flake. Lagostina will not replace wok.

A: Thank you kindly for your inquiry, here is the Warranty for Lagostina. https://www.lagostina.ca/en/lagostina-warranty. Using a mixture of lemon and baking soda and then re- seasoning the pan with a neutral vegetable oil. Hope this helps.

Q: Most Lagostina cookware cannot take high heat. I think woks generally do. Does this one?

Q: Made with PFOA Can you refer me to the manufacturer's fine prints behind the claim, "Made without PFOA"? I like to read about what they really meant by that and what was used if they don't use PFOA.

A: PFOA stands for perfluorooctanoic acid. PFOA is not part of the finished non-stick coating used on Lagostina’s non-stick products. Lagostina’s non-stick cookware is very safe and is made with a plastic polymer called polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE), which is an inert substance that does not enter into or react with food, water or household cleaners. This is the material that creates the non-stick finish. If ingested, PTFE is totally innocuous in the body. PTFE is so safe that it has been used by the medical profession for coating heart simulators and small pipes used as replacement arteries.
