    This worked great for my pop up camper, price was a bit steep, but it was what I needed, the white wire must be grounded for it to work properly.

    Missing ground

    They should inform you that you need to connect the extra ground, as the 4 pin connector ground is cut off in the harness, so the 4 pin ground is useless. I soldered the two grounds together in the harness, as I want to be able to use this product on and off depending on the trailer I'm using without having to make it a permanent fixture.

    Q: Do you have to connect the extra blue, black, yellow and ground wires for it work, or can you just plug in the four way flat?

    • A: I found that the ground (white wire) in the 4-pin connector was not connected to anything. I would either have to use the extra thick ground wire as a separate ground, or in my case, I soldered the cut off ground to the larger in this product.
