The J-B Weld Exhaust Weld Total Exhaust Repair Wrap offers a high-strength system for repairing the entire exhaust system. This 2-inch by 72-inch wrap is impregnated with a special resin formulated to withstand exhaust temperatures up to 1100°F (593°C). It cures with or without heat to seal and insulate exhaust parts. The convenient kit includes the fiberglass wrap, gloves for application, and aluminum tape to secure it. This exhaust tape is the total solution for sealing cracks and holes in exhaust pipes, mufflers, catalytic converters, and more. Its heat-resistant resin provides a durable and long-lasting fix.

Fix my muffler up no problem I had quite the damage to my muffler at the flex pipe. Before using this, I did have another pack of JB muffler weld in the tube I picked up from princess auto for a few dollars cheaper, I have to say this stuff in the little can is much better. Much easier to work with. If I could go back and redo it I would put the fiberglass wrap around it first and then the putty on top. Unfortunately I did it the other way around but I guess that's how you learn. The muffler is held up quite great either way since then

I've used this twice. It was still holding after two years on my Ford Van. It isn't structural though. I used it on my Crosstrek but failed to secure the two pieces by some means. It lasted 6 months before it broke.
