This Garage-in-a-Box® Auto Shelter was designed with SUVs and full-size trucks in mind. An Alpine frame with a reinforced roof structure adds more volume and overall strength. With over 8-ft or 2.4 m of door clearance, it’s the perfect low-cost storage solution for full-size trucks and SUVs. A polyethylene fabric cover creates a waterproof shelter that is also great for your lawn and garden equipment, ATVs, jet skis, motorcycles, snowmobiles, wood or bulk storage.
1.6" (4 cm) All-steel frame
Powder-coated frame resists peeling, chipping, rusting and corrosion
Triple-layer, rip-stop, polyethylene fabric cover is UV-treated, 100% waterproof and includes fade blockers, anti-aging, anti-fungal and anti-yellowing agents
Easy Glide Cross Rail and Ratchet Tite tensioning locks-down and squares-up cover
Frame connections are all bolted together to ensure optimal strength and durability
Includes bonus Pull-Eaze roll-up door kit (037-1358)
This shelter is a temporary structure. Failure to regularly remove snow or ice could result in collapsing and/or buckling of shelter, potentially causing damage to property not covered by warranty
We recommend using proper anchors, dependent on your sub-terrain, on each leg of the shelter for maximum stability.

Q: What is the thickness of the fabric? Is it the same thickness as the beige 10'X20' Shelter Logic shelters?
5 years agoA: Hi Serge, The beige 10x20 is a 5.5oz polyethylene cover and this cover is a 7.5oz triple layer woven polyethylene cover.

Q: What can be done to Stop inside SWEATING ? Installed in October. Great unit for truck. Now that it is getting cold, the inside sweats and at entering it comes down in large raindrops. What to do???
13 years agoA: A ground sheet will help a lot as the moisture is coming up through the ground. I built a 4" X 4" base with plywood sheeting and vapour barrier that gives me a dry solid floor year round. Vents are also critical and I recommend one for each end... You can purchase AutoVent Automatic Shelter Vent Kits from the ShelterLogic website at https://www.shelterlogic.ca/shop/autovent-automatic-shelter-vent-kit.

Q: Is this garage ok for winter use...? Wind & Cold...?
15 years agoA: Absolutely, yes!! I put this up by myself in 2 stages, with just a bit of help from hubby putting the legs on. Follow the instructions step by step and anybody can do it. I used 12 inch ardox spikes I bought from the hardware store to spike it to the ground and haven't had any problem so far. We have rocky ground so couldn't use the included anchors. One tip I could recommend: after the roof structure is assembled and one set of legs is attached....put the roof tarp over the peak before you attach the second side of legs. This will make your life MUCH easier when the structure is standing and you need to center the roof tarp when the peak is at 12 feet.

Q: I just purchased this today, I'm curious if the side wall posts are completely vertical or are the suppose to slant inward mildly? Because with my 13' 2" front/back spacing measurements, it seems to have a "inward" lean to it? Thank you in advance...

3 years agoA: No your truck won't fully fit inside, I have a crew cab 20ft long. the length of the shelter is exactly 20ft and there is no way to extend.

Q: Hi, which shelterlogic portable garage will be ideal(not too big and still strong) for Edmonton Snowy winters.
4 years agoA: The 13x20x12 is the way to go. It has a peak on top that the snow slides off and does not build up. We have lots of snow in Thunder Bay and it’s held up well for two winters.
