Bulb fits perfectly, as it should, but extremely overpriced in comparison to competing brands. Avoid this money grab.

Big upgrade to the OEM HID lights in a 2005 Toyota Prius

I purchased these HID's to replace the OEM versions that came with my 2005 Prius. Those bulbs were average at best. One of the lights eventually started to fail and a quick "swaperoo" between left and right bulbs showed the bulb to be the issue and not the igniter module. After trying to pull together as much info as I could in HID lights off the interwebz, one name was constantly mentioned as a good choice - Philips. With that part settled it was a choice of how 'white' I wanted the light - 4300K or 5000K. I settled on the 5000K. The install was a topic in and of itself but with 267,000 miles and many a 100+F summer you might expect that plastic parts don't want to move freely after 10 years - but the new bulbs provided an amazing difference. Not only did the extra white light provide more light that were somewhat visible before, the extra light given also provided a better, more consistent, coverage of light in front of the car. Amazing difference and although not the cheapest, I'd highly recommend it. I think I'm going to buy a similar set from Philips for my S2000.

Brighter than the older bulb it replaced. Pleasing light "color"- less blue than the prior bulb, more natural. Negatives: Philips does not disclose useful life, and Philips refuses to publish reviews that are negative.
