Q: There are mixed answers regarding whether we can connect a air compressor to this tool. Can someone tell me what adaptor u need to connect my air compressor to this and which end I should be using to connect the air compressor line?
3 years ago- A: Not sure what adapter or if it will work, but maybe if you connect the line from the compressor to the threaded nipple and hold down on the top button you should get a reverse air flow to tire. Then release the button to check the pressure ??3 years agoHelpful?

3 years ago- A: The thread is the same as the valve stem on the tire. Clip the one end to the tire and use your air chuck to fill the tire. No need to connect them together.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: Is it ok to leave this in your vehicle over our sweltering hot summers and freezing cold winters, or will that potentially damage the gauge or throw off calibration?
5 years ago- A: Yes, this tire pressure gauge should be OK to keep in your vehicle but for emergency use, we would prefer to recommend a more compact pencil-style gauge to keep in your vehicle, and keep this dial gauge in your tool box stored in a cool, dry place to prolong its life. For all tire pressure gauges, when needed for use we would recommend bringing the unit to ambient temperature before use for an accurate reading.5 years agoHelpful?

5 years ago- A: An air hose from an air tool compressor would need a 1/4" NPT to Schrader valve adapter to connect. This tire gauge is intended for use with a tire inflator that does not have a gauge or broken gauge. To connect, simply thread the valve stem on to the air hose of the inflator.5 years agoHelpful?

It is designed to be used as a Tire Pressure Gauge tool to check tire pressure in passenger vehicles. It accepts a Schrader connection.
