A: Yes this would be fine to do so, just make sure the length of the stroke is enough to lift the trailer high enough. If not just bring a couple blocks of wood to use under the jack when raising the trailer

A: This tool is used in order to elevate the corner of your vehicle enough to bring the wheel on that corner off the ground for replacement. This one can be used as a replacement or upgrade as it is typically more powerful than the scissor jack included with standard passenger vehicles.

Q: Is it good for tire changing? I was thinking of buying me this little jack, because the one I have in my mazda is totally rusty, a piece of wreck. The third review says it's no good for tire changing, is this opinion/experience correct?

A: Theoretically you could. However the only time I tried with one of these it ceased at maximum lift and I had to get another jack to raise the vehicle so I could remove the C.T. bottle jack.

A: As long as the oil plug is tight and has the rubber o ring around the plug , then you can store it horizontally.

Q: Would this work to stabilize my RV retractable step that is not secure on one side. Have looked at Camco ones but they seem hard to get secure and want an easy solution.

A: We would not recommend a bottle jack to stabilize retractable RV steps as it would be difficult to distribute the weight/load correctly each time someone takes a step.

A: Yes, a MotoMaster bottle jack is suitable for automotive applications including your 2007 Suzuki Grand Vitara, and should always be used with Jack Stands as well. However, some of the smaller bottle jacks available have limited lift height and lift range/travel, which you may find inconvenient for use. In order to get the bottle jack to a suitable working height, you will likely have to build up a wide, stable base with solid wood lumber or similar material. We would prefer to recommend a trolley jack or garage jack for frequent use.

Q: can I use at 12 ton jack to lift the corner beam of my 14X22 walkout deck to lift one corner and fix the 6x6 that has sunk in a bit. I will only use if for a few days to level up the concrete in the bottom and correct the post.

A: Yes, bottle jacks are suitable for construction applications such as lifting structural framing, and we do believe the 12-ton model will be suitable for your deck but cannot confirm with certainty. Your question also indicates you intend to leave the bottle jack in place “for a few days”. This is not recommended under any circumstances. The jack does not have a locking mechanism and in the unlikely event the jack fails, it could release your structure and cause property damage and/or injury. A better plan of action would be to lift the structure using the jack, and then support the structure with temporary framing or an appropriately sized jack post.
